Jason Anthony, or if you’ve been to a live show you may know him as  (Mr.J… from Amsterdam where everything is legal) grew up in Northwestern Ontario and Toronto. At the age of 13 he began playing guitar and writing songs. At 15 he started playing professionally in cover and original bands and playing various instruments and producing on many recording sessions.

For several years, Jason toured Canada and the US playing a minimum of 200 shows a year. Some bands Jason formed and was playing in at that time were Dogs Of War, Hybrid, The Copy Cats, A.D. After playing his local music scene for a while and hungry for a bigger challenge Jason relocated to Hollywood California and began playing the club scene in Los Angeles and working sessions for other musicians and writing/recording music for placement.

 Some artists Jason has been the opening act for include, Vince Neil, Motley Crüe, GNR, Motorhead, Jerry Cantrell, Metallica, Nazareth, Seether, Blue Oyster Cult, Nickelback, Stephen Pearcy and many others.

Currently Jason is finishing work on his debut album in which he wrote all the songs and played all the instruments and vocals. The album is to be released this summer.
